| Collage Artist Judy McLeod creates rich and compelling collages
constructed of patterned papers, drawing, and painting. Judy McLeod’s
art is about women, families, relationships, expressive human events,
and creative moments: the imagery conveys a raw yet universally
understood moment in time or place. Additionally, Judy McLeod uses
gouache to create paintings that capture tiny events in nature. Gouache
is also the medium for the Wanted Women: portraits of women who are or were fugitives from the law in and around New Orleans.
